Agenda

In the autumn of 2009 the diveclub of which I’m a member organized a trip to the artificial pond of Naturagart in Ibbenburen. The Naturagart Tauchpark is an artificial pond with a maximum depth of 8 meters. There several themes built in the underwater environment like a temple, walls of rocks and even a wreck. In the pond a Group of sturgeons, some over 1,5 meters in length, swim around and are used to divers.

NaturaGart is market leader for large pond DIY systems, such as swimming ponds and ornamental ponds. In the early 1990's it became clear that the company would soon reach its limits using conventional advertising. They therefore decided to build a park to exemplify the use of their products. Since then several ponds have been created, among a unique tauchpark.
